This small boutique hotel is perfectly placed, immaculate in the lobby areas, well designed very clean modern rooms and delightful friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. We had a room at the back so no view (which we knew when booking) but very quiet compared to those at the front looking out onto ribeira square, so down to personal choice. Literally steps from the beautiful Duoro river and so many excellent restaurants to choose from all within a 5 minute walk. There was an issue in many rooms with the air conditioning which noisily sprang into life every night in the small hours but the management were awaiting a visit from the air con company to attend and sort. If coming back to this beautiful area I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

This is a surprise boutique hotel during our trip to Spain and Portugal. Very cozy and new and unique. We have a two connected family rooms facing the plaza. The front desk is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is restaurant style and food is best for our whole trip. Definitely will recommend

Our welcome was just so special, the staff was so pleasant and kind. We got a hand written welcome card with a little desert plate. The room was cozy and spotless every day! Morning time was so special with sit down a la carte breakfast menu!

A dream stay! Cute, petite, luxury boutique hotel w/ a restaurant next door. Check-in was a breeze & the staff super helpful! The place was immaculate & the room simple but eloquent. I had views of the river & bridge & it was a fantastic place to watch the city celebrate FC Porto's championship win! The little desserts & hand written card was so thoughtful! Breakfast was always delicious & included some delightful pastries/bread. Daniella (sp?) was FANTASTIC! I adore her! She let me practice a few Portuguese phrases & was just so friendly and sweet! The area was perfect as it was right in the heart of Ribeira square area. At night I loved to grab a drink or an espresso & enjoy looking at the river & lights across in Vila Nova de Gaia. Few tips: -It's in an area where cars can't easily get to & downhill from most things. Palácio da Bolsa is like a 4-5 min walk away & was the best pick-up/drop-off area for Bolts/Ubers. Hotel Carrís may be the closest hotel for a drop-off. -The main entrance is in a little alley but is perfectly safe! Female solo traveler & I never once felt unsafe! There was always so many people out. -Breakfast can be slow because it's ala carte. If you're in a rush to get to a tour, you may want to just grab something on the go. -Rooms may be considered a little small if you're not used to rooms in Europe or Asia. I found it to be a perfect size! Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making my staff extra lovely! I cannot wait to return next year!

Location is everything. You're close to the river, restaurants and sites. Rooms are clean, Wifi is strong, beds are comfortable and they provide all the toiletries you will need. Breakfast had many options and the service was top notch. Reception was open 24 hours and staff very helpful and knowledgable. You will love this place, highly recommended. The area is vibrant and safe.
