「I really enjoyed stepping out of my room and walk right to the beach. I enjoyed that I never moved my car the whole time I was there because everything was within walking distance. I really enjoyed having a good AC, beach chairs available, beach towels available, and bikes to rent. What I didn't enjoy is there is not an ice machine at this location. You need to stop by a convenience store and by ice.」

「The parking is terrible. Please be advised that if your travel from afar you can only have one vehicle!! Family can't come visit because there is no where to park! If I would have known before hand, I would have choose a different hotel!! Most of the parking is the beach parking. Which is $20 + tax only until 11! Would not advise staying here, especially if you want to explore Daytona. 」

「We only stayed a couple days but it was super comfortable and clean. Love that we had efficiency rooms to do a bit of cooking. This place allows smoking on grounds but not in rooms. Being a smoker, I appreciated that but I also appreciated how respectful all the smokers were, including myself. Lots of receptacles available and they are kept clean and organized. It IS possible to be a respectful and clean smoker. Pool area is gorgeous and this place is right on the beach! We really had a nice...

「We have been coming to The Shores for a few years now. Our experience has always been a pleasant and relaxing time. Unfortunately this year many people don't choose to follow simple rules. Several people decided to smoke around the resort. Other people decided to bring their dogs to the pool! We will definitely go back but hope other patrons will be more considerate of others.」

「The staff were all so friendly and helpful! Even when other guests were being nasty to them. My husband and I went by ourselves but I really want to go back with my kiddos!
