「We loved everything about this place! The room had a nice layout. The Roku TVs were easy to use and it was great that we could easily sign into our own streaming service accounts. The refrigerator had a Brito water container with filter. The room also had a small counter top stove, a microwave and a coffee maker. The only complaint that I had was that I got pretty warm in the bed despite having the AC set to 65 degrees. There was no fan in the bedroom.」

The property is clean, attractive and well maintained and the Continental Breakfast was well-stocked and appreciated. You could hear the base in my room.All night my tub would not drain when I took a shower and then a lady knocked on my door at nine o'clock to ask me if I drove a certain car and I did not.And I told them what I drove never again」

「I wish we had more reasons to stay near the Briar Inn because we would be regulars! We only needed one night in order to attend a few graduation events and the Briar Inn far exceeded our expectations. I could tell from the Expedia listing that it was going to be a quaint little place to stay outside of Salem, but it was really exceptional. 「Excellent location, easy self-checkin, responsive offsite staff. The room was cozy, clean, and included everything I needed. The only issue was noise - I could hear the people who checked-in above me from 5 pm till they finally went to bed a little after midnight. People seem oblivious to how easily impact noise travels in old NE construction. My room was also overlooking the parking lot and noise carried up easily from that.」
