「The location is great being only a 5-8 minute walk to the main downtown street on the island. Our room was nice and was one of the rooms with a private bathroom. I do wish there were more outlets in the room itself (not just in the bathroom or hidden behind large furniture in the room); we struggled to charge our phones, etc. The bathroom is very small with basically no counter space. 「Check in and check out were great, staff was very friendly. We were asked what floor and side of the hotel we wanted which was nice because we were able to choose a room with a view of the Mackinac Bridge. Our room was clean and fully stocked when we got there. Good size fridge in the room with a microwave. There was not a “do not disturb” sign to put out so our room got cleaned during our stay, although it wasn’t a thorough cleaning which is fine. Beds were uncomfortable for me personally, I...

「For those who know me on this website, you know how I am really difficult to impress. Well this Hotel GOT ME. Even more at the price I paid. The hotel may be a little outside the Mackinaw city, but the distance worth the advantage. We had a wonderful spacious room, plenty of spaces, with balcony, view to the beach. The staff was friendly and informative, made sure we were fine, even offer to set up food service if needed, despite the late time. Wow. Wonderful. I won`t forget this place....

Walk into town was more than 2 miles which is fine in nice weather. Room was nice with frig and microwave, balcony, comfy bed. The island is not senior friendly and expensive. Budget accordingly.」
