They don't have breakfast so to bring your own would be nice to have a microwave they did not had to go to the office and use the one in there. Also there were no washer and dryer had to use at another hotel which they let the customers do. Other wise it was nice cute inside

We stayed in a basic room which was awful! Filthy dirty, mold in the shower head, phone didn’t work, had to plug the cord in the back of the tv to get it to work, had to take all the sheets and blankets back down to the office cause they were very dirty. Room smelled musty, moldy and like dog piss or and no toilet paper and very few towels, hand towels or wash rags

Sheets on the bed were not changed. Food and other items not picked up from under bed. Broken roller paper holder and window. Screen missing from one window, unable to open window and a/c is only in the main space. No where to hang wet towels, no where to second bedroom to hang/put away clothes.

Clean rooms, needed a couple more syuffed chairs and maybe a larger tv. It was convenient to the ferry to Mackinac and the trip to downtown.

Pictures of chateau are deceiving. Traveling with a toddler and expected our own chateau, not sharing one. Place smelled musty. Not at all like pictures make it seem. We ended up not even staying, booked up the road at Clearwater for the night.

Room smelled of mildew. A lot of cobwebs and dead bugs in light fixtures. Bathroom was in need of updating and the grout on the tiled jacuzzi tub needs to be redone. No microwave in the room and mini fridge did not work properly. Staff was friendly during check-in and check out, bed was comfortable.

Be aware that the “cabins of Mackinaw” are not all Cabins! You may end up overpaying for a tiny hotel/motel room that is hidden behind the (admittedly nice looking) Cabins in the front of the property. I even double checked the photos shown on Expedia and the only pic representative of our booked room was labeled as a “bedroom” which would otherwise come across like it’s part of one of the cabins - in the room, all of the 3 pieces of furniture were either damaged or non functioning, the nightstand for example must have been broken and was resting on the floor with the French cleat it used to be left on still bolted to the wall, then of course there were the lamps that didn’t work and the overall dirty condition of the room! The skirt of the bed wasn’t even pulled down over the ancient mattress, having worked in a hotel for 2 years I can understand some mistakes and general laziness but this is easily the worst room I’ve ever stayed in despite being in a price point of some very nice rooms that I have experienced. Do not stay here

We were staying to walk the bridge. It was great for that. Easy walking distance to the bridge and all of the downtown attractions.

There was mold where the shower pan and walls met. There was only one half of a roll of toilet paper and no wash cloths. The material on the sofa was torn.

Bathtub drain, stand in ankle, deep water when showering , spiderwebs and spiders in the corners of room, front window leak , water dripping on window sill on inside of room when raining , had to put hotel towels on window sill to help keep it dry for Ptact unit below window, large puddle in the middle of parking lot when driving in or out , 12-16” deep as no drain in that area
