Such a beautiful, stunning, picturesque island! It was at first difficult to get into the "laid back" mode with the horses, bicycles, or walking (no cars), but after a while we totally enjoyed that part! Hope to return someday soon!

The island has become very touristy and pricey. We definitely recommend bringing as much of your own food and other items if possible. If you're able to bring your own bike, it is MUCH cheaper than renting a bike. Food is also VERY overpriced.

Took the carriage ride but didn't get to get on and off as was stated. Did not go all around the island. Had a new driver who didn't give a lot of info.

This area is lovely and wonderful for a getaway. My husband and I spent a week on the island and loved every minute. It was relaxing and absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend this resort and this area.

Stay on the mainland and walk to ferry for a day trip and save ALOT of money. ST. Ignace is the best option.

"Loved all the staff we met from front desk to cleaning staff. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served on the third floor and you can't take food back to your room but it is a very large dining room that accomodates many. Room was very comfortable. Lots of dead bugs on the balcony but I suppose that's normal. Absolutely loved the view of the beach!"
"The only problem is the location of the property. Don't get me wrong.. You was outstanding and fabulous. The time it takes to get anywhere is 40minutes to an hour. If we were bikers and they had electric bikes then it's perfect. PLAN well ahead to go to dinner, shop in town or do anything outside of the resort. This place was truly special but the moving around quickly was the only issue. I would recommend and also I would stay here again and again. "
