「Very good breakfast 」

「The Ann Stevens House was a short stay. We went to the Daytona 500 about 26 miles away. It was quaint with antiques placed in our 2nd story room. The mattress was rather hard, but not horrible. There was of plenty of parking and the room was very clean. The host is very nice and accommodating. My only negative comment is that the stairs, that looked rather new, were rough cut, unsanded and unfinished. My husband got a pretty large splinter from the banister. 」

「Lobby was filthy. Room furniture was torn and ragged. Entire premises had foul odors. I felt like I was in a homeless shelter. Price outrageous」

「Excellent hotel, Very clean, within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly and efficient. The amenities in the bathrooms were a welcome treat, lotions, toothbrush, makeup towels. Shower was sparkling clean and warm. Really nice property. We will definitely staff again. 「The woman at the front desk was friendly but when I went to my room the bed wasn’t made and the drawers weren’t shut properly. It was as if someone had to vacate quickly. I went back downstairs and the woman was not overly apologetic( does this happen often?!?) My new room had a weird smell and the bed was creaky. Overall, not the best stay at close to 200 a night. I was really disappointed in this hotel.」

「Overall, it was clean. Bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen were fine. There was a small puddle on floor in one of the rooms. A windowsill in the common area had a dead mosquito. Front porch furniture wasn’t clean. Didn’t meet a staff member until ready to leave. Extra supplies were provided upon request. 」
