"Everyone was very friendly & the hotel room was perfect "

"We encountered only 2 negatives while staying at the hotel. Firstly, we had to wait quite a while when checking in/out and for enquiries. Generally there were only two receptionists who were quite busy. Secondly, our room (1475) was extremely hot during the night and when we tried to set the air-con (no instructions) it was very noisy."

"Booked a double bed and found a twin had been allocated. Otherwise, room comfortable size but windows were unnaturally sealed. Eating area was shared with lounge unfortunately, as the furniture was totally unsuited for breakfast eating. This debacle will prevent any future stays. TV's in lounge were built into the pillars and permanently live. They need replacing as the screen display was worn out. "

"The hotel location was great the staff nice and the price fair. However when we stayed Easter weekend there was a celebration thing on. The sound check started just after 8am on the Sunday, it sounded like a full brass band accompanied by drums. Surely those not staying for this event could have been housed further from the noise. It was extremely loud and very disappointing. We got up dressed and left. I’ve never written a negative review before but the noise was something else it was happening right next next to our room. "

"Excellent location being so close to Cardiff Bay and free parking as hotel guest is nice. You can tell the property is quite dated though and could do with some upgrades to rooms. Our air con did not seem to be working or not strong enough so that could be an improvement. Didn't try the restaurant but the bar area seemed nice and relaxing to sit and lounge."

"As there is so much static coming from the floors and dry mops there was bits of fluff. The stand for the coffee/tea was not dusted. It was not obvious as to how to connect to Wi Fi. The TV was too big for the room and the sound would cut in and out of most channels available. "
