Room was nice, convenient location, staff were friendly. Room had open bottles of water which had sips taken out of and cut toenails on the bedside table which I noticed before I got into bed which I can only imagine were from the person before.

Upon arrival all of the staff we spoke to were fantastic and really engaging. The food at breakfast and dinner was beautifully cooked and the guestroom was a great size and very clean.

Great stay in converted cottage in the courtyard. Great location, very friendly staff. Walked to Lansdown Park and ride only 10 min for evening in Bath, so convenient.

Our stay here was beyond our expectations. Entering the bar to book in the staff were extremely welcoming. Our room was exquisite, bed extremely comfortable the shower was fantastic. Room was spotless. Breakfast was excellent we chose a different breakfast every day. We had our evening meals also food was delicious. Our dog loved the walks . Shopping in Bath we used the park and ride just up the road. This was free as we had bus passes. We will probably return for the Xmas markets. Will definitely return next year in the summer . Thanks to all the staff who made our stay extra special .

The pub is in an excellent spot about 7 mins walks to the park and ride bus into Bath. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent we had an evening meal and breakfast- both were homemade and delicious. My only slight negative was i found the bed very hard, saying thst was husband didn't- not easy to please everyone!
