There was a weird smell in the room, only given a small thin blanket that had questionable stains on it. Dark room in basement. It is walkable to the tube and cool shops. Staff was friendly. I’ve stayed in worse.

Recommend for solo travellers.

Stayed here for the night before the Queens funeral. Considering it was booked only 2 days before the visit it was a fair price. It is basic but for the price and ideal location its in I found it fine and I had everything I needed. Was asked for a security deposit when I checked in which was quickly returned to me the day after check out. (would have been same day but I checked out on bank holiday) Friendly staff on reception and a quiet night. Would recommend for solo travellers like myself.

If you have absolutely no other options then maybe consider this hotel if you want an overpriced room without natural light, no door lock along with a surprise £50 deposit from which they find a reason to make a deduction before refunding part back to you.

I was looking for a cheap and cheerful place in London but ended up booking this cheerless, shoddy, ran down and miserable place. I’m a little annoyed with Expedia for advertising this location! I’m mostly annoyed with myself for not looking at the reviews first. Simply put, don’t stay here.

Very poor condition

Hotel in poor condition they take £50.00 security deposit when you book in for damages what you could make worse I'm not sure my room had a cigarette but on the floor of the bathroom so obviously not cleaned hasn't been updated in anyway for years you only get £47.50 back from your deposit a lot of reviews said they didn't get there's back great location though I think a hostel would be better
