House of Horrors "Hotel"

Horrendous, hotel is not as advertised, the owners have apparently sold this property and bought a new one which is plain horrendous. Only way it can be described is a halfway house for people before they are rehoused by the council. Full of screaming people all night, there was a b o n g outside the bathroom door, the bathroom floor was soaking wet. Tramps were constantly coming and going in and out of the "hotel" which was reminiscent of a d r u g den. Avoid at all costs.

A principal dificuldade foi a falha na informação do local de hospedagem pelo proprietário. O App indica um endereço situado em local ermo, sem identificação do estabelecimento e sem pessoas para recepcionar os hóspedes. Ficamos ao relento, debaixo de chuva, tentando contato com o proprietário, que, afinal, informou que ficaríamos hospedados em outro endereço, melhor localizado. Nos designou um quarto que não tinha banheiro privativo como contratado, nossa sorte foi que o quarto correto estava desocupado e pudemos utilizá-lo. Como pontos positivos, a localização do apartamento em que ficamos e a cordialidade de um morador do imóvel, Nilson, que gentilmente fez as honras da casa.

we where sent a place at 175 king cross rd not the place on photo 1. for 5 people only 1 cup 2. the T.V did not work 3 someone frozen food was still left in fridge 4. the curtains where a meter to long 5 no hot water for showers till after 5 pm

Pas un hotel, pas une chambre d'hôte, un dortoir

Adresse difficile à trouver. Gérant injoignable. Pas de serviette de bain, pas de papier toilette, une assiette, deux mugs, deux verres, deux fourchettes,deux couteaux...chambre soit disant familiale pour six personnes mais dortoir de 8m² avec 3 lits doubles côte à côte. Cabine de douche défectueuse, robinet lavabo cassé. Rien à voir avec la description proposée. Dommage que le propiétaire ne prenne pas soin de cette maison.

The worst thing I’ve ever experienced! We booked a room at Kings cross guesthouse. But there was nobody there when we arrived. The number we received didn’t work. It ended with us staying at another hostel owned by the same people. And the place was nothing like what we booked. Never again! A dirty and groce place!

Billigt men...

Svårt att få reda på hur vi skulle checka in - sen incheckning. Fick tillslut en kod till där nyckel förvarades. Hade bokat 2 rum men bara det ena rummet fick handdukar. Trots kontakt med ansvariga fick vi inte fler handdukar. Billigt boende och ok om du bara vill ha tak över huvudet. Tveksamt att kunna bo där på vintern då fönstren var i väldigt dålig skick. Bilderna på rummet stämde inte på Hotels.com Kommer nog aldrig att boka igen. Bra var att det var nära till kings cross tunnelbana.

Rip off hotel save your money

Don't believe the pictures

Three double bed in a 16 square meters room with half broken ensuite shower and toilet. Given the picture you might believe there are more than one room but there really is only one room. Windows blind were broken and bed were almost adequate. 6 people plus luggages is hardly possible. YHA is probably a better choice and would not cost more

Good, clean and excellent location.

Not what we were expecting for the price we paid. It was large room and had an extra bed which worked out great for the kids ( who didn't want to share ). Not far from the station which was one of the main reason as well as price for choosing in the first place. Really good selection of local shops and takeaways. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall was pleasantly surprised and happy with the experience. Of course it could have been better, but can't everything. We all had comfy beds and slept really well. Was warm but not to hot in the rooms. Most importantly was we felt we got good value for the money we paid. If we had paid more then this review could have been more negative but I am keeping it honest and realistic.

Horrible !

Not quiet room, not clean, no reception, no comfort, no wifi.... No direct contact between the reception and you, just SMS ! I absolutely don't recommend to people this room. It's not a hotel, just a room.... where the clean lady don't come.

I was booked on this guest house. I tried to call the manager to let know I will be checking late. I called them, when I arrive in London 15 times, no answer. After trying to phone them he pick up the phone. He told me to pick up the key to his friend house. It cost me £150.00 just to go to the place. When I saw the Guy, he tried to ask me and my company to stay in that place. That place is a run down accomodation. I told the other Guy, this is not the place I booked. The taxi driver help us to fine a accomodation at 2:30 AM. Please don't book to this place.
