「We were greeted warmly and given coffee upon arrival. The rooms are well equipped with private bath, kitchenette, and wardrobe. The rooms are bright and airy. Our room had a corner balcony that had views of the church and Mt Vesuvius. We were able to easily walk to the archaeological park; there are restaurants, bars, shops, and the church square on the way. 「Villa Rosa was nice but the hill to get to the main road is vertical. They have no way to help you get to the top especially when it is time to leave with your luggage. Luciano luckily helped us with some of our luggage, but you would think with a vertical hill they would have something. The small town below doesn’t offer many different options for food, but the views are spectacular. Overall it was fine, but it’s very remote and the location is inconvenient.」
