Just finished a 7 day stay at the resort. Everything about it was great, but what made it most special was our host Giuseppe who took extra lengths to make sure everything was good.

A great hotel with views of Vesuvius. Staff were first class. Good sized room. All spotlessly clean. Huge grounds in which to walk or relax. Pool with loungers & towels supplied plus the poolside bar. On site parking with buggies available to bring luggage to or from your car. Also courtesy bus from the nearest station (free) or the airport (chargeable). Good breakfast buffet. We didn't try the restaurant. Good location for visiting Pompeii or Herculaneum.

Lovely hotel, some things could be improved in the bedroom, the shower flooded the floor as did not drain correctly and the towel rails in the shower and the bathroom were both loose. The grounds are very pretty, the pool is very nice, breakfast could be much better.

Holiday in March

Our stay at this hotel was amazing! The hotel was very clean, the staff was absolutely wonderful, and everyone was incredibly helpful. The location was also perfect for us! They offer free parking as well as a shuttle service to the train station, making it easy to visit places like the center of Naples. The breakfast was also really good. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

The hotel was very comfortable. The only thing I would have added was a fan in the large room I stayed. The air conditioner kept it cool enough but the air was so still that it seemed hotter than it was. As for everything else? It was superb. The LINE restaurant was flawless. Excellent food and at a great price. The views and ground of the hotel were just magnificent. Only matched by the competence, kindness and efficency of the staff.

This property is magic in the middle of not such a nice area, but it is quite the sanctuary if you are interested in hiking Vesuvius or having a special dinner, the property and gardens are amazing and the food was excellent.

Our short one-night stay had us wishing we could have stayed longer! Beautiful and clean property, amazing service, convenient location to the airport - with a wonderful pool and exceptional dining too. Be sure to treat yourself to the pool and the high end on-site restaurant. It was spectacular.

We loved our stay at Il San Cristoforo. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern, and the resort property was beautiful and quiet. The staff were always helpful. The hotel offers free shuttle services multiple times a day to the nearby main train station (Ercolano Scavi) which made it easier for one of our day trips. They were also very helpful with getting a shuttle to Napoli Centrale for when we checked out. One thing to keep in mind is that local restaurants are a bit of a walk (~20 minutes) which we personally didn't mind. Also, the closest train station (S. Giorgio a Cremano) is about a 30 minute walk. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Il San Cristoforo.

What a beautiful place and so well taken care of - we enjoyed our stay immensely! There was a wide variety of breakfast options in the morning, the pool was clean and inviting, the staff was very helpful, the shuttle service to Ercolano train station was helpful to catch the sites! the beds were soft and the rooms were sound proof so well that we felt like we were the only ones there (even though there were multiple wedding parties going, but you would never know!)

It was really pleasure to stay in this place, we got nice breakfast but sometimes they could a bit change to different options of breakfast, if someone plans to stay here everytime make a weddings party and music a bit louder every evening but we could enyoing fireworks every night to go in terrace and watch it pool its nice a bit cold, outside in the hotel very nice views, we are glad we had oppurtunity to stay in this hotel

Wedding Venue

This hotel is a wedding venue! We were assured by the management that the wedding would not disrupt our stay, they did. A wedding every day, music blaring from midday near the pool area. Then again in the hotel until 10.30pm. The hotel is a min €20 cab ride to any restaurant. So you definitely need a car. The grounds are beautiful with a waterfall and fountains. The food was good. Wedding season is most months apart from August. Naples is not the best area to appreciate the Italy I know and love.

This is an oasis in the middle of a busy suburb in Naples. Seemed like crazy crowded all around this place. Great staff, beautiful property, really nice/clean rooms. If you happen to meet Marco the bartender on a slow night ask him to make you one of his specialty drinks. We had him all to ourselves outside on the one night we stayed and we had a ball! Thank you Marco!!!

Excellent hotel with gorgeous grounds and views of Mount Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. Spacious and very clean rooms, Extremely quiet setting, which might be rare for Naples, since the hotel is set well away from roads, and even its own parking lot, in a lush garden setting. A bit of a walk to reach the shaded parking lot but the beautiful path made it seem quite short. Assistance is provided with a golf cart to transfer luggage from parked car to hotel Very nice buffet breakfast with a wide selection. Francesco, Giuseppe, and Roberta provided outstanding service at the front desk! Transportation available on request to Ercolano train station (to Naples or Pompeii). Easy drive to Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Vesuvius (and Conad Supermarket across the street). Overall a great experience!

Unbelievably beautiful property. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Great food. Exceptional staff. I wish I would have had my wedding here! Pompeii and Herculaneum are fairly close. It's best if you have a rental car as this makes Naples and the Amalfi Coast accessible day trips. Otherwise, you can still take a taxi or train to Naples, but it's probably 45 minutes

Absolutely excellent stay! This hotel is gorgeous, a beautiful grand building set in beautiful grounds, with the added benefit of having Mount Vesuvius as the backdrop. The location of hotel is brilliant for Pompeii, Herculaneum, Mount Vesuvius, Naples, Sorrento, Salerno etc, and the regular shuttle to and from Ercolano train station was very welcome. We were made welcome from our first step into and last step out of the hotel. The reception staff, Giuseppe (shuttle driver) and restaurant staff were absolutely awesome, very helpful, friendly, professional, happy and accommodating. One of our best holidays ever! Highly recommended !
