「Great location right on the reef. Definitely a bonus if you like snorkeling but bring reef shoes and reef friendly sunscreen. Staff members are very friendly! The free continental breakfast was worth skipping at "JoJo's" but "Dune" provides a fabulous ambiance for dining right next to the beach. We didn't venture out from the hotel grounds because we found the hotel's location perfect for what we wanted: 1 night accommodation with easy access to snorkeling on-site. 「We booked 8 nights at The Tides and really enjoyed our stay. Our room with a den had a bit of a quirky lay out but had the added bonus of being on the top floor with a partial ocean view that we weren't expecting. It worked out great for us because we had a cloudy week so when the beach wasn't ideal, we were content to relax on our very large balcony with the ocean view and great breezes. 「Nice place to stay but a little far from the main restaurants and bars of grace bay. On Thursdays is very convenient because is a very short walk to the fish fry. They do offer to take you to the beach on a golf cart and they offer bicycles. Big rooms cold AC, nice pool!」
