「The hotel is in desperate need for an upgrade!! The rooms are old, worn out. The pools are small and invaded by iguanas which roam around without the staff shooing them away」

「The water in the outdoor pool was so hot and limited seats. Probably need a cooling system. Loved the location and watching the boats. The townhome was excellent minus the coffee filters. Also, would not recommend for people with disabilities. There were no elevators going up to the townhome on 2nd floor and also the room in the townhome was on the second floor. The front desk person was super nice. Would stay here again if we were staying long term.」

「The parking is good. There is a nice pool and restaurant. You will have breakfast with a lot of sea birds nearby and other animals waiting for you here and there. The facilities in the room are really aged and don’t work efficiently, including the toilet, sink, closet, telephone, doors. 」

I also really appreciated having a restaurant on-site and coffee available at the front desk, which was very convenient. Cons: Unfortunately, there were a few things that affected our stay. The AC was not cooling the room enough, which made it uncomfortable at times. The biggest issue was hearing rats moving around in the attic/ceiling at night. They were walking...

「Highly recommend this retro resort for a Florida Keys getaway! We stayed mid-week in standalone Cottage #3 (across from the dinosaur), which was perfect for relaxing away from Miami. Although we skipped the resort’s beach area for a John Pennekamp snorkel trip, we enjoyed the peaceful sunset in the cove. Staff are extremely helpful and provide everything you need. Note: Breakfast is very minimal, but High Tide Restaurant across the street has amazing homemade biscuits!」

「We were satisfied with the check-in process and were really excited about staying in the water bungalow for our anniversary. Unfortunately, the experience did not fully live up to what we expected for the price. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of privacy. We booked what was advertised as a private water bungalow expecting a secluded and romantic anniversary getaway. Instead, boats were able to come within just a few feet of the bungalow. 「I was very happy when I arrived to the hotel. Everything was like brand new and very clean ! The kitchen, which is my favorite part, was spacious and had all the appliances and utensils necessary for my stay. The staff were extremely friendly! I would highly recommend this property if you want to have a relax stay with no issues whatsoever!!」
