Lieu magique mais service plus au niveau

Réservation via hôtels.Com pour une chambre familiale et s’entendre dire par téléphone lorsque nous voulions réserver le repas du soir que notre fille posait problème car ils n’acceptent pas les enfants en dessous de 12 ans ( elle les fêtera 12 jours plus tard) De plus pour y avoir séjourné deux ans plus tôt il y avait des enfants et le lendemain matin au petit déjeuner voir un bébé ….. Bref, nous en avons reparlé avec le duty le lendemain matin , il nous a présenté ses excuses mais non n’avons pas eu de gestes commercial. Pour le repas du soir, nous étions donc à une table à trois et il manquait un couvert , qu’elle ne fut pas notre étonnement lorsque le serveur a pris le service qui était devant une dame à la table à côté avec son époux ( ils commandaient également leur repas) et le mettre devant nous !! ( en plein Covid nous avons refusé et explique que cela ne se faisait en aucun cas ) moment gênant !!! Petit déjeuner, pour un hôtel 5 étoiles ne pas recevoir un croissant et le serveur nous dire plusieurs fois oui oui on va le cuire… nous n’avons jamais eu ce croissant Bref très decue du service qui a vraiment perdu de sa valeur

Boğazın sakin sularında bir haftasonu

Harika bir haftasonu geçirdik, boğazın eşsiz manzarası ve martılar huzur verdi. Ancak beş kişilik genç grubun yan odayı alarak bahçede yüksek sesli muhabbeti ortamın dinginliğini maalesef bozdu. Neyse ki 4-5 saat kadar sürdü. Bunun dışında ortam ve hizmet gayet güzeldi. Teşekkürler

An Oasis in Istanbul

Sumahan on the Water lived up to all of our expectations. The location of the hotel on the banks of the Bosphorus is spectacular. From every room as well as the garden and terrace of the hotel you have stunning views of Istanbul and the lively traffic on the Bosphorus. The design and architecture of Sumahan on the Water respect and emphasise the industrial history of the buildings and provide a calm and elegant environment. The scale and location of the hotel also give it a private and intimate feel and make it the perfect place for relaxing after spending the day in the hectic streets and crowds of Istanbul. Staff was kind, helpful and professional, and upon arrival we were offered an upgrade to a garden suite without further expenses. Since the current website does not capture the true beauty of Sumahan on the Water, new photos and a general revision of the website is highly recommended. Sumahan by the Water is truly an oasis in the metropolis of Istanbul. Thank you for a lovely stay.
