「What a great find! Visiting the area for a gig & decided to have 2 nights away. The Great House was a last minute booking but what a wonderful place! Idylic riverside setting in a small village with lovely bar & restaurant. Staff were all very friendly, from the lady who greeted us at reception & upgraded our room to the fabulous housekeeping - the lady with the ted hair deserves a special mention as we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her!!! 「This is how hotels should be. It was absolutely esquisite. The finishings on the building was amazing and consistent throughout and was echoed by the quality at every angle, from the welcome, to food, to service, you name it. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere and a lovely place to be. We stayed during a very quiet period out of holidaty season and were still made to feel very welcome, were always asked how we were, and were very aware that any member of staff would go above and beyond to help...

「It's a Holiday Inn similar to many others. Close to the motorway, a little distance from the centre of High Wycombe. There is a small shopping mall nearby with limited shopping and dining options. Had breakfast in the hotel, it was a buffet with fair options. Their coffee was ok, but I like good coffee and went somewhere else for that」
