Nice hotel in a beautiful area, staff were polite but not very friendly. I did feel that I was being ripped off as the prices were top end and the quality wasn’t.
DO NOT ask for a taxi, they organised a cab from central Reading that charged £40 for a 2 mile 10 minute journey at 3:30 in the afternoon!! Totally shocked at this.

Excellent stay at The Swan - a beautiful hotel in a stunning location right on the edge of the River Thames. The Boathouse pub was a super addition to the hotel, and dinner at Coppa Club was superb. Incredibly welcoming to our dog too. We will be back!

Staff were good. Poor nights sleep though as the room we had on the upper floor was far too hot and uncomfortable to sleep in ( not sure how people cope in summer as it was 10 degrees outside) . No other rooms available as there was a wedding going on at the hotel .They had already provided a fan in the room ( so they must know about the issue) which we had to use all night as well as keep the Juliette balcony door open. Food in the restaurant was ok but service and staff were very good. Leaving disappointed , especially given the cost of the room.

The room was excellent - we got a free upgrade to a larger room than we expected. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the facilities were all very nice.

Beautiful modern hotel with amazing views, great facilities and spacious rooms. The only issue we had was the noise from the corridor but we would definitely stay again in the summer when we could really appreciate the setting.
