My wife and I stayed here for our minimoon and enjoyed the architecture and views of the surrounding hills. What a lovely place to reset and the team were so helpful and accommodating. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym and spa were a treat!

We only had a one night stay prior to a Heathrow flight. I remember The Danesfield from years ago & it was nice to return. A little faded in places but still lovely. The room was way too hot ( it was a warm end of September night ) but once we worked out we could turn the electric towel rail off in bathroom that helped. We enjoyed our stay & so much nicer than a Heathrow Hotel

We have been lucky enough to stay he previously. This time we took our son & his family for he’s 30th Birthday. We had rooms next to one another & our own little gardens overlooking the countryside. My son was bowled over with the hotel & room & will definitely be looking to stay again. Nice little touch from the hotel putting some chocolates in the room for him too. Staff lovely well worth a visit

We hired a room for 4 people. The room was very well prepared for our arrival and very spacious. The room had a mini fridge which didnt have any beverages but the hot drinks section was well stocked. The grounds of the hotel were simply spectacular and that together with the spa facilities made for a tranquil and reenergising get away.

Really relaxing break. Room was great nice size and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning had a good choice of items. Grounds weee lovely to walk around and has the most gorgeous views. Friendly and helpful staff. Only let down was pool and jacuzzi area got very noisy with kids. Not sure what policy is on jacuzzi age restriction, as was no sign.

Lifts weren’t working and the room was tiny with a sloping roof - not good for the money paid! The bathroom was also small with the mirror on the sloping roof! Useless! Grand impressive hotel but probably wouldn’t return Disappointed Receptionist was very helpful

Fantastic hotel! Staff very welcoming and nothing was too much bother. We had an issue with our bathroom which needed maintenance so we had to switch rooms but staff dealt with it efficiently and couldn’t be any more apologetic. A bonus as the new room had air conditioning 😉 Would definitely go back!

Hotel was very nice. Unfortunately there was a pretty rowdy wedding happening there the night we stayed, with a lot of wedding guests banging in and out of rooms and playing music through the night. Not fault of hotel per se, but did rather dent the relaxing weekend break experience that hoped for.
