「Check in time located in the cafe, time is limited, except inform hotel by phone. Provide free wifi. Breakfast included. No hairdryer in the room. No lift, you have to lift luggage by yourself to the second floor. Double bed for singe for single room, large for one person.」

「We were given a top floor room for which I realised I struggled to walk up in addition to the hotel is like a maze and confusing to find and get back to. It was one of a very hot day and the window is quite limited to open to let the cool air comes in. A fan is available. The shower as well is a bit of a tricky manoeuvre to operate. Breakfast is basic including the juice. Coffee is fine.」

「No air con on my room as it was broken! And they didn’t have another room for me. The room was ok, but very dark as I needed to keep the curtains shut to keep out the sun and there was only one very old bedside table lamp. I stayed for 2 nights but my room wasn’t serviced. 「Als je na een lange reis in de bloedhitte eindelijk aankomt bij een hotel, verwacht je op zijn minst dat je vriendelijk en met aandacht wordt ontvangen. Niet dat er ondertussen druk op de telefoon berichtjes worden getypt. Ik bedoel... wat is nu 5 minuutjes even met onverdeelde aandacht je gasten ontvangen? De kamer was bloedheet, maar daar kan niemand iets aandoen. Het tapijt is goor evenals het hoofdeind van het bed. Badkamer was prima en netjes en ruim, niets op aan te merken.」

We were experiencing one of the hottest days in the UK so it was a bit uncomfortable for sleeping due to the lack of ac, there was an oscillating fan in the room which provided some relief but without a window for some fresh air during the night, it was a little stuffy. 「It was just ok. Location was excellent for us which is a big plus but let down by poor communications (no response to phone calls or emails at all). Check in instructions were sent, but after check in time. I wanted to confirm the arrangements upfront as it was getting to the stage where I thought I would need to arrange alternative accommodation. In addition, the flat itself was frankly, filthy. 「Bathroom was not stocked with the usual (and expected) shampoo and conditioner; only one towel provided for two guests, and shower screen seal was hanging off. A tower stand was provided but not adequate for the size of the room and the outside ambient temperature (19 degrees overnight).」
