"Stay was really good"

"The hotel itself was good and I had no issues with the stay, but the booking process via Hotels.com was frustrating. I chose this specific hotel because it was advertised at a discounted price of £48. However, £57 was actually deducted from my account. When I contacted customer service, they refused to help because I didn’t have a screenshot as "proof" of the lower price. It’s disappointing because I drove 35 minutes away from Manchester specifically for that deal. If I had known it would cost £57, I would have just booked a room in the city and saved myself the long drive. Advice to others: screenshot your price before you pay, as the final charge might not match what you saw."

"Ate in the Grill on the Hill. Attentive staff. Food was good but was expecting a better range and standard. Clean room. Did tend to get too hot. Great location if going to Leeds Airport as an overnight stay before flying. "

"Generally the property needs a bit of a renovation in some respects when you look closely, but to be fair for the price paid it was a good deal. One thing though the Jacuzzi connects to the pool so the water temperature is a bit cool and most surprising of all we were unable to get a meal on the Saturday night. The restaurant was full and no bar food was available ' because the the kitchen was busy'. "
