「The hotel staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was well kept and clean. The room was very pleasant and spacious with it's own balcony. The tea and coffee selection in the room was very good. The restaurant was very well laid out with plenty of room, the service was very good and the breakfast menu had plenty of options with everything being well prepared and tasty.」

「The rooms we had were a big step above the student rooms we had back in the 1980's although they could benefit from better ventilation in hot weather. The fact they had ensuite facilities and lifts helped greatly. The breakfast was very good indeed and the staff very professional and friendly.」

We were therefore delighted when we received an email from Richardson Hotels, offering accommodation there again. We booked a week in early July and weren't disappointed. Yes, the fabric of the hotel needs some attention but our room was clean and comfortable and benefitted from a bay window with a sea view.
