"We were impressed from the moment we arrived. The setting is amazing, with two of the best hosts around! No details were ever overlooked, from the assortment of snacks to the already prepped coffee. Room was beautiful! We enjoyed getting some recommendations and volcano updates. My only complaint was that we had to leave. We will be back for sure!"

"This is the real Hawaii! The property is located in a relatively remote area about 30 minutes south of Pahoa. Beautiful setting in the middle of a forest not too far from the beach. Isaac Hale Park is within walking distance and although the beach isn’t very safe for swimming there is a pond there that you can swim in. "This cabin is one of the most special places I have ever stayed in. Barry and Jim, the owners, take immaculate care of it. They stock it with breakfast foods (eggs, milk, coffee, fresh fruits, cereal, oatmeal, bread etc) for quick starts to the day. We loved coming back to the cabin after a long day in the National Park.
