" My recent stay was a terrible experience, primarily due to poor communication and unprofessional behavior from the hotel management. Although I booked nine nights in a sea-view room through hotels.com, I ended up in a partial sea-view room. Manager Holly Wong told us the hotel never had sea-view rooms and she couldn't “ build” ( her word) one for us, which added to our disappointment. We questioned why they offered a sea-view option and charged for it if there were no sea-view rooms available. She tried to contact whoever she believed was responsible, but ultimately no one took responsibility. Afterwards, she told us to sit there and think about what to do, as she “ does not want to waste both of our time” (—- HER TIME? I thought that’s her job )
Ms. Wong's handling of the situation was extremely unprofessional. The manager seemed rushed and offered no effective solutions. We expected assistance, but her response was cold, indifferent, lacking in empathy, and
shirking responsibility.
During this stressful experience, the hotel failed to provide the help or comfort we needed.
In conclusion, I hope the hotel will improve its communication and staff training to ensure a smoother and more personalized service experience in the future."
