「I loved my stay at Maison Santa Croce. It is easy to get to; the taxi left me right at the door. The staff at the reception were nice and welcoming, and explained the details of getting in at night, including the codes, perfectly well. The property is beautifully decorated, it makes you feel that you are in someone's Pallazzo. My room was very spacious (plenty of room for my luggage). It had two windows, being a corner room, so in the morning, it received a lot of light. However, the shutters...

「The staff is so helpful especially the front desk . He’s friendly , polite , have a nice smile despite asking several favor . The breakfast is very good . They have delicious home made pastries and bread . They cook the eggs , any preference as part of the free breakfast . They have freshly squeezed orange juice , which is not common now a days in European hotels. They used to , but a lot of the hotels omit that now . They give you now box orange , which is not good for you 」

「Beautiful room in a central location with all the main sights a short stroll away. Room well appointed with the most amazing double shower. On the top floor with amazing views from the outdoor terrace. Only drawback was the really loud industrial generator/air conditioner that is on another building behind the room that came on every 30 mins or so all through the night. Lift was out of service on the second day that we were leaving and was a nightmare to hump suitcases down 5 flights of stairs....
