We stay room with balcony. Space is perfect for 2 people and very clean. Reception service is perfect from the beginning we arrived. Hotel Location help save a lot of time in traffic. Highly recommend to stay in calimala in all kinds of trip to Florence.

Did not refund one night out of an otherwise 8 night refundable booking. Really disappointing service. All of this during the covid crisis. Then had the audacity to shoot me a catty email like they were so proud of themselves. Take great care.

This was our first trip to Italy. We absolutely loved Hotel Calimala. It was the perfect location. We could walk to everything including the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom soaps were very nice and smelled so good. I would only note that if you are sensitive to noise I would not choose the balcony room on the street. We were never bothered by the noise and enjoyed opening the balcony doors and looking outside especially at the artists painting on the streets every day. I only point the noise out for someone who prefers quiet because it can be a little loud in the morning and late at night. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice place to stay.
