「We booked to stay for 2 nights to attend a wedding. The chalet was clean and had everything we needed. We needed to arrive quite late and this was accomodated really well. The only downside was that the chalet was really warm, but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we revisit the area.」

「This was a fun place to stay while visiting the battle field. The village was very interesting with many small shops. The room appeared to be recently renovated and staying above a pub was a fun experience. The pub itself was also excellent. Our only complaint was lack of air conditioning...which resulted in us opening a window...and listening to traffic (the road out front is very busy) All-in-all, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area」

「The hotel is on the main street accessed via a side alley with steps and parking is available across the road. A warm welcome on arrival. We had room 20 which was spacious and had a view onto the bustling Pantiles street area of TW. If you are like us a couple staying overnight for a nice dinner and a few drinks, this is actually a perfect place to stay. On the Sunday morning because we were up early, we decided to have breakfast at the hotel which is à la carte and I must say the coffee was...

「Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.」
