"Upon arriving in my hotel room, it was clearly dirty with cup stains everywhere. Shower glass was covered in mildew. No safe or chairs on our patio- clearly they were not ready for us, and that was after us unfortunately showing up late due to a flight cancellation. The staff were friendly and helpful. Pack your own lotion, shampoo, conditioner, etc. it was bad. The elevators were horrible - hopefully you’re on a lower floor because you can wait for up to 10 minutes for an elevator to arrive. Food is mediocre at best - some restaurants are only open on certain days and you may not be able to book at certain restaurants because it was a “change over week” leaving 1 restaurant or a buffet as your only option. The pool wait staff didn’t serve you nearly often enough (maybe once or twice a day) even when you tip them well. Around the pool there were dirty cups and plates everywhere, the wait staff did not clean those often enough. And we were there during their slow time (May) so I can’t imagine that it would’ve been better when it’s busy. It was overall a get what you paid for, wouldn’t stay for longer than a week max. "The room was an unforgettable experience, the service was top-notch, I was fascinated in that aspect. Just three minor things I didn't disagree with. When I arrived early for check-in with an elderly lady and my family, they didn't offer us the option of using the room to rest, which is included in the hotel's policies and benefits, and I had to wait in the lobby. In my room, the dining table was never cleaned during my five-day stay, and in the pool and restaurant area, when it comes to all-inclusive, it was very inconvenient to have to sign for everything I consumed. If it's all-inclusive, it's all-inclusive; you pay a lot for all-inclusive without having to have restrictions on drinks and food. There are other hotels that are all-inclusive without restrictions and of the same quality. They should be more flexible in that aspect and make things easier for guests to feel more relaxed. The reception staff's attitude and demeanor towards guests seemed angry... they didn't smile at all. ...until I told him that I was already a member of Villas del Palmar Flamingos, his expression changed, becoming too cheerful. The change was very sudden...but thank you, it was a first-class service. "

"Our room was spectacular and clean. Amazing view. But, all appliances were VERY loud. I used the washer/dryer for all the wet clothes and they were so loud that nit even closing the doors helped the noise. The jacuzzi was also very very loud, we opted to turn it off and call it a night. The espresso machine and coffee maker, were both very loud. We did not use it again. Elevators were broken and we were on the 7th floor… not cool going down/up in heels. Not really a kid-friendly place. Over all a beautiful place for older adults and seniors."
