「Room was dingy had and odor in the hallway.for the price and a 1 night stay it was ok」

「We did not see staff very much. At the front desk we had to call for help when we checked in and out. At breakfast, no one came to check if more of anything needed to have food added.」

「A full selection of items were served for breakfast such as eggs, sausages, cinammon rolls, fruit, pancakes, etc.」

「This hotel was very clean, staff very helpful, parking was excellent and the breakfast was great too. Our stay was short, but well worth the stop. Highly recommend this hotel.」

「The property is not maintained at all. Mold, mildew, bugs, dirty sheets and towels. Paid for 2 nights through Expedia and would not subject my family to the filth this place provided the second night. AC units do not cool down rooms and staff was not helpful or honest about the rooms. Since I booked with Expedia there was no cancellations or refund for the second night. Terrible experience with hotel and Expedia on compensation for the the hotel not holding up to acceptable staying conditions.」

「Looks like they are going through an innovation. Staffs were nice and the building was clean. Located outside of Dubuque, but still close from the downtown.」

「A/C unit was taken apart. Water in bathtub came out brown initially. Website states snacks available. Only upon arrival did I learn no food would be provided. Tiny bathroom - door hits toilet.」

「The overall appearance of the hotel was great. Had all the amenities needed. I ordered a beer at Caroline’s Bar and it was flat. Came from the tap. They were great and gave me another beer, a different one than I wanted. But that one was also bad. They subtracted the first from my bill but not the second. I gave both back and did not drink them.」

「asked for a room near elevator twice by email since I am handicapped. Got room 230 which is as far away from elevator as you can get !!」

「First of all in the elevator there is a hand written sign that says" When you get to your desired floor HOLD the door open button so the door will open". Then the elevator doesn't stop even with the floor and my first step out was face first on the floor as the elevator stopped about 3 inches above the floor. The room felt like a jail cell, you can open window all the way open (4th floor) and no bars on the screen so a child could fall out, toilet is so low to floor as if you are using a...

「Great location we could walk everywhere. The pool was closed though they should tell you that on line when you’re booking your room. Was very clean and the staff was very nice.」

「We went to Grand Harbor Convention Center for a Junior Pool Tournament event. Stay in this hotel for a whole week. Very satisfied as far as I concern. The facility is a little outdated. So do not expect it look like a 4-star hotel. But the rooms are maintain really clean. The breakfast is good too. It is right by the river. So very convenient for a relaxing evening walk. I will definitely stay here again if the event is at the same location next year.」
