"The unit was very clean and the pool was really nice. Staff speaks little to no English and could not effectively communicate back 50% of the time even when we used a with a translator later app. The listing indicates having a balcony however our room did not have a balcony and they were not able to switch rooms for us. Instead of a balcony, we had windows with a lovely view of the parking garage below. The area is far from the tourist district, which is fine and felt somewhat safe but keep in mind, it is somewhat remote and you will have to have transportation to get to a grocery store. There are three or four restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance. The kitchen is somewhat equipped, but has unuseful things like a juicer and then has no mixing bowls. There is minimal toilet paper and no paper towels. There is shampoo and body wash, no conditioner. There are no spices or anything like that to cook with. You will have to go to a grocery store to buy basic provisions, especially if you’re staying more than one or two nights. You will also need to bring in your own bottled water so again a trip to the grocery store or at least walk to the convenience market two blocks away."

"The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. it is within walking distance from a Starbucks and a Walmart. It is a short ride to the airport. It is a descent hotel but it seems to be made of materials that lock the humidity inside. So once we took showers, it was crazy humid and the small dehumidifier in the room just can't keep up. "

"The hotel was small (12 rooms) and new and very clean. The staff were exceptional. Sylvia and Gloria did a great job keeping the rooms and the pool area superbly clean. Francisco was very accommodating with any requests and Jose could answer just about any questions we had. We stayed in the 2-bedroom unit for 3 weeks and it was very spacious. There was a 3-burner induction stove but only one frying pan and a spatula so if you're planning to do any cooking, it would not be very practical. We asked for an additional pot and was given a frying pan and a small pot which worked out great. Keep in mind there are no cutting boards or knives so even with the pots, it would be limited in what meals can be prepared. We took cutting knives and a few small spatulas so we were good. There was no microwave in the room but we were fine with that. The hotel is centrally located - 15 to 20 minutes walk to Chedraui, ADO bus station and Parque la Palapas. There is a secure gate that you have to use a code to get it so it was very safe. All in all, I think with a few small additions (e.g. coffee/end tables, more cookware and food prep tools, hair dryer, mirror in each bedroom) this would be a wonderful place for long terms stays. There was a small cafe/bar in front of the pool which was hardly ever used but each morning, Fernando played good opera and concert music which was great to listen to. We hope to return soon!! "

"Good area if you want good food, walking distance to walmart and gas stations but not near beaches, was like a $8-26 uber depending on what time you order it. the walls are also thin and so are the blankets and the free breakfast was just toast and cereal. they do have other options where you have to pay. i’d say not bad and felt pretty safe walking till 10 at night just exploring. they do have a pool but the sun doesn’t really hit it."
