"Location is good. Bed was extremely comfortable. Building is a bit worn and could use some updates. But, for a last minute trip during that time of year - I’d say it was acceptable. Cleaners could pay more attention to detail (i.e. dusting blinds & furniture). "

"We had such a wonderful stay at Tranquility Bay Resort in Marathon, Florida! This was the perfect place for a family getaway. The property is absolutely beautiful — the charming white buildings give it such a clean, coastal feel and everything is so well maintained. Our family especially loved the beach and the pool area. The pools were great for relaxing and for the kids to enjoy, and the beach was peaceful and perfect for soaking up the Florida sunshine. Everything felt very clean, cute, and welcoming. If you’re looking for a relaxing spot in the Florida Keys that’s family-friendly and beautiful, I would highly recommend staying here. We made some great memories and would definitely come back!"

"Overall, we had an okay stay. Would have been nice if we were not charged $5 for water, $20 for parking every day, and the extra $35 every day for resort fee! Also, would have appreciated a refrigerator big enough to actually hold our leftovers not just the wine bottles for sale. Lastly, the 2 beach chairs we were given to use on the beach did not open."

"Marina/Ocean view Hotel pool was a highlight Pointe Bar was not open during our stay, despite hours listed. Breakfast was unimpressive, prepackaged muffins and biscuit sandwiches."

"The suite / 2 bedroom was nice and clean. The grounds well kept. Everyone was friendly until they wanted us to change rooms. They checked us in and after a little while, long enough for us to settle, start showers and phone calls home, they insisted we move. Said we were in the wrong room. I checked the room number written on the key envelope of the key that was given to me (it was the room we were in) gave me directions; we unpacked, settled, and then started insisting we pack up and move. We declined as we had indeed booked a 2 bedroom suite, which is what we were in. We were confused. Then we were told the other guest would be there longer than we would and needed the room. ??? Such a stressful checkin. Along with this, Expedia did not disclose there would be resort fees $28 per day. So they charged me in addition to what I had prepaid through Expedia."

"Very clean and friendly environment. Clerk asked if he could carry our bags upstairs for us as there is no elevator. No coffee in available in the rooms but a fantastic coffee bar in the tiki tabernacle with great a view open till 11:00. Quiet, peaceful and would do again. "
