The rooms were clean and nice. Issues; grounds were shaky and dumpy. Location not the best. People who worked there tried hard and were nice. Definitely a 1/2 star hotel.

Mi estancia en Banana Bay Resort & Marina fue excelente. Desde el momento en que llegamos, todo el personal nos trató con una amabilidad excepcional. Se nota el esfuerzo que ponen en brindar un servicio de calidad y en hacer sentir a los huéspedes como en casa. Disfrutamos muchísimo las áreas de la propiedad: tranquilas, limpias y perfectas para relajarse. Cada detalle estuvo muy bien cuidado, y realmente apreciamos la atención y la buena energía de todos los que trabajan allí. Gracias a todo el equipo por hacer nuestra experiencia tan agradable. Sin duda volveríamos y lo recomendamos al 100%.

The Wi-Fi was very poor in the room this was reported, but brushed off so we sat in reception to get Wi-Fi, the breakfast was awful and not worth having, and the seating area for breakfast was tatty and insufficient, plus it’s advertised with a sunset bar, but it smelt so bad we couldn’t stay, the bar served beer or soda nothing else and the sun set behind buildings not what you’d expect in the keys. We complained about the awful smell around the bar area ( we thought perhaps boats were off loading their sewage), but the receptionist said it’s just the ocean and nobody else had ever complained.Room clean and adequate.

Room was excellent. Clean, comfy bed and pillows. Roomy. They charged $18 extra for parking, separate from daily resort fee. Parking lot needs upgrade. My concern is the parking fee was not mentioned in description and extra fees. Thought that was included in resort fee. That’s very deceptive and misleading.

Nice place, cute, beachy vibe. Had umbrellas and beach chairs to borrow to take to beach. There is no beach on the property. Perfect for our quick family getaway.

Only reason clearly list was not excellent was because the balcony was pretty nasty but understandable considering the trees it was under. Love the little tiki bar in the back. The bartender was so cool beautiful serene area love the rain shower.. breakfast was bad because the eggs were browned. The sausages looked uncooked and the way it was spread over three different areas..

Room smelled of mold and mildew, air conditioner leaked all over floor and almost fell when closing drapes, bathroom shower had black mold/mildew all in corners, bed was old and uncomfortable, furniture was old and warn, table was to high for the chair or couch, not enough lighting in room at night, breakfast was burnt omlets that were previous cooked and sausage patties were a mix of under and burnt with NO butter for toast or napkins. Resort additional charges made no sense and addititional too for parking. Only outside sitting area was at pool which closes at sunset or at the sunset point bar which is open for 3 hours on evening and indivudual did not understand english very well.

The staff was great! The room was clean. We had a second level room with a balcony and a gorgeous view of the ocean. The breakfast was good. The pool was wonderful. I will stay there again.
