「Had a very nice stay. The rooms were very nice. We had a beach view balcony room. The elevator and hallwayd could have been a little cleaner, and I found it hard to believe with the price of the rooms that they want to charge you for using a chair on the beach!!! Not cool!!! Other than that, everything was pretty good. 」

「Coastal Suites is a reasonably priced hotel in a busy section of Wilmington. My only complaint is about noise in the vending/ice machine area which is quite loud in my room which was next to this area. On Wednesday evening someone was talking on his phone. Early Thursday morning some taking a large amount of ice from the machine. This noise was quite disturbing.」

「I showed up on a bad day, long line, phones ringing off the hook, and the front staff handling it like a professional. 3 staff short, delays in getting rooms ready and doing everything she could , taking names and phone numbers to let everyone know as soon as they would be ready…… all with a smile. 」

「Overall, I enjoyed the hotel. Room was clean. Great water pressure and quick hot water, loved having the little kitchen area and coffee maker. Breakfast was just ok, but similar to other hotels - eggs, bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt, waffles, etc. Only issue was that I got bit by someone’s dog walking through the hallway! I have a service dog (yellow lab) who was between me and the wall and we were both minding our own business when this guys dog started veering over. I had a bad...

「This is a great value for a beach front stay. No frills. Nothing fancy. But it was clean and quiet. The parking is limited to one car per room; When I called ahead to ask about a solution to brining two cars, the clerk simply said “well you’re just going to have to cancel” I said, “no ma’am, my problem solving skills are better than that” and realized there’s paid parking directly in front of the hotel for the general public-problem solved. I paid $30/day to park my car there.」
