「There were bugs in the room.」

「My room was very old and in poor condition. I found trash under the tv cabinet, the cabinet was scotch taped on the top edges, stained carpet, the sliding glass door was filthy. I was shocked at the condition of my room. Then the back door I had to enter thru was broken and didn't lock which worried me for safety purposes because it backed up to woods and was not well lit.」

「At first, before I spent any time there, I spoke to a wonderful lady on the phone and she helped me make the room arrangements for my stay. Every other time I called the hotel I spoke with someone I could not understand. He had a very very thick accent. I'm usually pretty good with accents but his was just too thick. 「I was on vacation alone and had some dirty clothes piled up, but when I checked in I was told the laundry room was not available. I spent over an hour getting my laundry done at a laundromat 20 miles away. I was very disappointed.」

「The lodge reminded me of lodges of the past...clean, comfortable, no added frills. Dining room/ servers were so friendly and the food was good(fries could have been hotter)」

「The staff was very helpful and courteous. But the room smelled, there were flying bugs in the room. The cover on top of the beds were stained and were very dingy, as if not cleaned. The bathtub looked very unclean and the shower curtains were dirty. With all that said, thank God we were only staying one night, I already had cleaning sprays and lysol. We were definitely not taking a shower and we slept on top of the bed with our blankets spread so we did not touch the covers. WORST PLACE I...
