"Character Hotel, with great history. You can tell that the renovation was 30 years ago….could use some updating again. Nice sized room. Only two towels and hand towels in bathroom. Kitchenette was a nice feature, but was in rough shape. Cabinets screwed shut. Only a few utensils, no dish soap to wash them. Elevator floors were often wet and sticky when we entered. Bed was good. Overall a decent experience for the price. "

"The hotel was great. My only complaint was, upon check-in, they hit me with a refundable $75/night deposit. I was on a tight budget, so adding $150 I wasn’t prepared for wasn’t great. I feel like that should be more prominent when you book."

"Everything was great except that the linens for the sleeper sofa did not suffice (there were not enough and although we requested more we never received them). Breakfast was a definite bonus!"

"The staff was amazing, super welcoming, accommodating, and just overall good energy. They gave me plenty of recommendations on things to do with my kids, and I really appreciated that. But the room itself did not match that experience at all. I can see the aesthetic they’re going for, but my room was in bad shape. There was makeup smeared all over the blackout curtains, visible water damage on the ceiling, and major electrical issues with the outlets and lighting. Again, wonderful throughout the entire hotel but, the condition of the room definitely needs attention. "
