「Such a lovely place to stay. Friendly staff, great food, great rooms. A short drive from The Newt and Hauser & Wirth so we stay when visiting several times a year.」

「Good location for strolling around Langport with its cafes,independent shops , gardens and river walks . The library is very close with an outdoors area . We had a room in the courtyard , good in the heatwave . Sometimes had to park further away in town car park ..still free ,though in autumn 2026 may have to pay . Staff helpful .」

「We really enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Hotel, our standard room was of a very generous size, much bigger than a lot of hotels which was very pleasing. The Hotel throughout was spotlessly clean, and the food was excellent, the staff were very helpful, and the cost was very reasonable, there was always plenty of parking spaces in the car park, and we will definitely visits again, the Hotel exceeded our expectations.」

「We had a 2 night stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. Faultless service from the staff in all areas and particularly the restaurant. Spa area and all 3 pools are spotless, just enough loungers, more than enough towels and shade - and on a hot day a beautiful place to chill out after exploring Bath. Bar lounge menus and main restaurant menu are good value, food is excellent.」

「Spent one night at The George. The staff were very friendly, check in was very smooth. Very knowledgeable about car parking in the town. Our room was very comfortable, clean and tidy. We slept well. The bathroom was well appointed, the shower was good and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very good. My partner had a full English which he was very pleased with. I had poached eggs which were perfectly cooked. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.」

「Vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Prima voor een overnachting. Tijdens ons verblijf zijn de matrassen vernieuwd. Dat wat wel nodig. De keuken was niet open zodat we naar een ander restaurant moesten uitwijken. Het groene licht was s’nachts irritant. Ontbijt was eenvoudig en goed.」

「Stayed at the Fox and Goose for 5 days. Looked after by the staff at all times. Very comfortable room which was serviced daily. The food was excellent with good sized meals which were served by very pleasant staff. Will definitely stay there again.」

「Very convenient location for the Royal Bath & West Showground. Owner was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was a little small but contained everything we needed and was very comfortable. We ate here on both nights of our stay and the food was great. Breakfast was also lovely. The room would benefit from a few cosmetic improvements but we would certainly stay here again.」

「Cosy, comfortable and very clean. Warm and friendly welcome. Large bedroom with everything you need, spotless bathroom. Lovely shared lounge and honesty bar. Superb breakfast with full english cooked to order, plus fruit, cereals, juice. Will be returning. 」
