Unfortunatly the Pecking Mill Inn was in need of a good clean. Very dated and forgotton. There were beer pumps but not in use. Cans were poured into our glasses and price was not cheaper. Food was on offer but we chose not to beat. Room was unclean. Did not use shower. Geoff was a lovely host and welcomed us.

Our stay at Peckingmill Inn was excellent. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Geoff was an excellent host, accommodating our needs for a vegetarian breakfast. Geoff clearly cares about his guests' experiences, and that means a lot. The only minus was the traffic noise at night, but that is not Geoff's fault.

Lovely little place with a wonderful host. Family room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was great and very enjoyable. WiFi was a bit temperamental but we managed ok. Great for a more affordable stay near cheddar ( 30 mins away) noise from main road outside might disturb some but we soon acclimatised. All in all a nice comfortable weekend at a reasonable price

This is not a Premier inn, but had character and I slept really well even though the pub faced an A road. My room had been fairly recently decorated I'd say. There was a little kettle in the room, with tea bags and coffee. Small TV , and ensuite toilet and shower. A lovely breakfast was included in the price, which was very reasonable. Nice owner. Close to the Bath & Wsst Showground.

We ate supper and had breakfast in the hotel - both meals were good. The only point to make is that the room we had would be small for a long stay, but there may be larger ones. I left my glasses behind and Geoff, the owner, posted them back to me the next day.
