「Was an ok stay bedrooms are basic but clean the pub below is not so good dirty seats etc & you have breakfast there. Def not worth the money we paid and would pay that again for a property of this standard. Breakfast was the best but if you can look past the pub you are in. Location good close to town centre. 」

「It was lovely and cosy and staff were very welcoming. Loved the bar and my food was delicious. Negative - not sure water glasses were clean as there was water in them. Soon put right when I asked for a clean one from the bar.」

「Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. Luckily he mentioned it later, and it got sorted and refunded. Would definitely stay there again, beautiful old building, and although a pub was very quiet in our room, ...

「Really enjoyed our stay. Welcome was courteous and helpful. We had an evening meal which was delicious. Service was great. Breakfast was the highlight! Enjoyed the Dorset dairy yoghurt. One very minor point no smoked salmon alternative to bacon with the eggs Benedict but mushroom was suggested instead and was equally delicious. Overall an excellent stay room was comfy, cosy and clean - thank you 🙏」

「Lovely clean hotel. Greatly placed for all of Bristols amenities/nightlife. Basin took a while to drainin bathroom but we reported it and no doubt it will be seen to. Value for money. Would stay again.」

「This is a lovely old building. The rooms are very comfortable and the bed is superb for a good nights sleep. Set just outside town, a short taxi ride in and out, it was very quiet and ample safe parking. The Dinner was very good (Belly pork) and you must try the garlic and cheese bread, it is huge like a pizza and far more than we expected. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they made our stay a memorable one. Thank you very much. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.」
