We love historic places to stay at. The George fit that perfectly. The room was full of charm and character. Modern it is not, but we knew this going in and we expected what they delivered. The restaurant serves delicious food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay there again given the chance. Thank you, The George Inn, we had a wonderful w experience.

Fantastic pub perfect for a romantic night away. Run by a fantastic team we had such a warm welcome which is an LGBTQ couple is always a lovely. Food was great, room was beautiful and of course the building really is something special.
