「I stayed for 3 nights with my 8 year old. Quite basic but clean, lovely grounds and convenient for exploring the area. We had a brilliant trip which included Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury and Wookey. Would return. 」

「Lovely property, very spacious double bedroom with jacuzzi bath. The bath filters needed cleaning as left some residue in the bath when turned on and the blind on the door was broken, but it was shut so that wasn’t terrible and neither detracted from our stay. Loved the room. Very clean and spacious. No smart tv so couldn’t watch Netflix or Disney. The only thing that lets the place down is the breakfast. My husband didn’t like his salmon and scrambled eggs on toast- said the toast wasn’t great...

「Bit mixed… room for the price was very good value but a bit dated, towel radiator was on full and had made the room extremely hot had to get manager to turn off as both plastic tap caps were broke. Bed…very comfortable but could have done with lighter quilt, Food… excellent!!! Service…. excellent!! Breakfast (continental)…. excellent Staff… excellent all of them!!」

「It was such a fun experience staying in this historic Inn! The decor maintained the historical feel, and it was a fun place to stay while visiting Glastonbury. We were able to walk everywhere (including to the top of the Tor - which seemed dauting but was not that bad!) For vegetarians - we had a great plant based burger for dinner at the restaurant, and the English Breakfast included in the morning was a very hearty way to start the day. 「I was on a Lands End to John O'Groat cycle trip, and this hotel was an excellent stopover point. It was not too far off the National Cycle route. Friendly and helpful staff, a fine breakfast and comfortable bed. Hotel provided safe and secure storage for my bike. 」

「Could not fault the spacious room, bed, coffee making facilities, cleanliness or the en suite. Only issue was the ignorant group of foreigners shouting, laughing and up & down the stairs till gone 02:10 in the morning. 」
