"Stayed in cabana suite, *note that they are on both 1st and second floors. 1st has day bed on balcony and a 4ft path to pool, and 2nd has small table and two chairs on balcony. We were assuming we would have pool access from the room but no. My main frustration was when a friend brought a nice bottle of wine and we called to have some wine glasses brought to the room at 2:30 pm, called again at 4:00, and again and 6:00pm, and finally again at 7:30pm when they finally brought them but the bottle was already gone after drinking from flimsy plastic cups since the friend did not have 6 hrs to wait for our toast. Each time housekeeping/front desk/room service said they were “bringing them immediately.” Having to improvise as there were ZERO cups or glasses or plates or dishes anywhere in the suite that happens to flaunt a full bar set up is wild. We assumed they had forgotten to set them up? But calling four times and waiting 5 hours for something so simple at $800/night is just not the standard I would expect. Outlets did not work in (gorgeous) bathroom so expect to dry hair in the aformentioned bar. Pool is 10/10. Staff at pool, temp of water, availability of towels and upkeep of area are excellent. Come for the pool, maybe don’t splurge on the room :/"

"Upon check in the staff was very helpful finding my reservation that Hotels dot Com somehow flubbed. Then the same staff helped overcome another issue with the booking. I was very happy with thier efforts. The airport shuttle was handy and timely. Construction on the street was a hassle but not the fault of the hotel."

"This is the only place I feel comfortable staying in Los Angeles. The subway is right across the street (on the rare occasion we have time to explore outside of the area) and Alfred Coffee being downstairs is perfect for folks here for work. There’s even an awesome egg sandwich shop across the street & TWO H Marts around the corner for snacks. The pool is also perfect during the summer & for the winter time, Wi Spa is just a mile up the road for “winter.” I’ve stayed here at least twice a year in the last 6 years and even when I try other areas or Airbnbs - I literally regret it and ONLY want to stay at the Line. I know I already talked about food BUT there’s so much around here ! Another honorable mention is the Plaza on Wilshire & Western - so many good eats in there, plus a Daiso, H Mart, SomiSomi, a Bingsu spot, a cute clothing store, a K-pop music store, & a Photo Booth place. What more could you ask for !?? Can’t wait for the next trip. Thanks for always being a reliable place to stay."
