「This is a small (5 rooms) guest house in a great neighborhood (The Waterkant). The house is beautiful with a small well-kept garden. Our room was in the basement (which sounds worse than what it actually was), but I think a room higher up would have been nicer. There is no reception at the house so the check-in procedure was a little more complicated than it should have been. The waterfront is a 10-15 minute walk but beware you’ll get deterred on your walk because there’s so much to see on the way. There are various restaurant options up and down the street and one of the best ice cream shops in Cape Town just a 5 minute walk. I wished I could have stayed longer there. The room was more of a cozy apartment....

「An absolute gem of a hotel right in the heart of the "old town" area near Kloof Street. Beautiful colonial style design with fantastic local artwork throughout, amazing (cool) pool, honesty bar, secure on street parking (security watchmen at all times) and the most amazing helpful staff I've ever had at a hotel - emails and information on things to do, restaurants etc was outstanding. A really brilliant hotel in every way!」
