「We stayed here for four nights during a longer trip to Costa Rica. It's very central in Tamarindo (it's a small town, so most things are "central"). Perhaps the most delightful part of our visit was the host Augustin. He was very helpful in orientating us in Tamarindo and recommending good businesses in the area and fun activities to pursue. 「El piso de la habitación estaba bastante sucio y el mantenimiento le falta pintura. Tiene experiencia de chimenea pero la madera estaba húmeda por lo que no pudimos vivirla. Esa era una de las razones por la cual decidimos quedarnos ahí.」

「Here’s a sharper complaint: > This property is a family-run B&B, not a 4-star hotel. With only 6 rooms, the experience was far below what was advertised and what the Expedia/Google listings led us to expect. Our room had an extremely loud creaking floor, which made it feel cheap and poorly maintained. It may be acceptable for some travelers, but for the price, it was not worth it and definitely not the upscale stay we were looking for. 」

「Front desk was so polite and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with great views of monteverde. No pool was available. Room was clean, included a porch seating area!」

「Good property and location. Room wasn’t quiet at all. Fan was loud and couldn’t use. No air conditioning. Wind outside was knocking things around. Shower temperature was difficult to adjust. Parking was limited and obstructed by some construction stuff.」

「Resort is a little older and needs some refreshing but is still very nice. Large and clean pool! Large covered balcony with lounge area and shared cooking area. This is a great space for dining al fresco, doing group yoga, working, playing games or just relaxing and watching nature. Also make sure you dont need a/c. This is an eco resort. I didn't pay attention to that part of the details but still lovely at night with the fan on.」
