They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...

「Warm welcome and friendly staff, however quite a modest property even for a BnB and at this price point. Small room with very small shower. Fine breakfast but only instant freeze dried coffee, and few options if you don't want a fry up. Immediate area full of litter on streets (like most of Barry). I know this isn't their fault but it's a location point. Overall a fine place to stay but I'm surprised current reviews are quite so high -- afterall, a warm and friendly welcome should be expected...

「A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again.」

「We never had a view, we looked out to the back of buildings,which was ok,we dont mind too much, the mattress was shocking, really saggy at the top end on 1 side, we ended up turning the mattress, as it felt like i was sleeping on a hill.」

「The King's Head, Usk is a great place to choose for a night or a longer stay in the area. I was very happy with it: the staff are unfailingly friendly, polite and helpful, the meals are excellent and of generous proportions and the rooms are very pleasant - very clean, comfortable bed and nice touches like a coffee machine which actually works well!
