Great staff, excellent location and room very good. I had a very early start to get home so didn't enjoy a sleep in bed, but it would've been more than perfect for a lazy morning. Had a pint with some Cardiff City locals before closing time in the pub downstairs who were great company (plus 2 Gooners!). In the meantime, up the Chelsea :-)

Had an excellent stay at the Pontcanna Inn! I had a last-minute trip to Cardiff come up and was very happy to find such a lovely place on short notice. The room was, clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Despite being above a pub and close to the street, the room was very quiet. I could hardly hear any noise from the pub or the street during my time there. Would definitely recommend the Pontcanna Inn for anyone looking for a stay in Cardiff.

we only stayed one night .lovely room , super comfy and easy to get everywhere by foot . Parking is very tricky . Staff were great , really friendly and helpful . we stayed mid week but imagine it would be fairly noisy at a weekend .

Very nice room. Clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Food and drink excellent. Hotel had no parking which to me is an issue and can be stressful. Otherwise no complaints.

Loved the hotel. The room was very nice and big, and even though we didn’t have a dog, it was really nice to see that dogs were welcome. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and visit again

Pontcanna Inn is a funky place to stay, the room was clean, spacious and boutique style. The vibe of the bar area downstairs was fun and cool during the daytime, we arrived on a Saturday. We were visiting for a concert and it was a great location to the Principality Stadium. When we arrived back at the hotel after the concert, it was a very different vibe. It was extremely busy, full of the younger generation drinking, sticky floors, lots of empty glasses and felt uninviting to hotel guests. We wanted to have a drink before heading to our room, but couldn’t get served at the busy bars and there was no where to sit as it was so busy. We ended up walking to the local garage to get drinks for the room. The noise downstairs was loud but stopped after about 12:30pm when they have stopped serving at the bars. It would be nice if they had a quieter section of the Inn for hotel guests. Also there was nothing to stop anyone waking up to the rooms where guests are staying. They have door men, but they are very pre occupied with the busyness of the bars. We did not stay for breakfast because only a few hours prior it was in quite a mess. I realise this is an Inn, but the environment it became was was not for us at all, which was ashame because our initial reactions were all positive.

Good times

Really great staff. The room was spacious and some nice touches. Air con would have been good but the fan in room was welcome. Was expecting a bit of noise but didn't notice anything. Breakfast was tasty but was unsure what was/not included. Great location for stadium which is why we stayed there. Would go again for sure.

Nice place

Really nice place. Was only there for one night for Oasis gig. Room quite small but really nice. Great shower and everything you need for nice stay. Clearly the price I paid had been hiked because of the concert but that applies to every hotel in Cardiff. Overall I was really happy with my stay
