The room had great windows but very dirty, however we understand they would be difficult to keep clean. The bedrables were very dusty. The breakfast room was gorgeous and the breakfast was wonderful.

Great location close to the castle and bus/tour pick ups and on a street filled with bars and restaurants. This also makes it a bit noisy at night.

Room had clear signs of water damage, peeling paint and mould in the bathroom. Breakfast was fine, did the job with a range of options but not 'high' quality options you would expect at a 4* hotel. They did have alternative milk and plant-based butter which was helpful. Staff were keen to help but there were problems with the Internet and our shower not turning off, dirty pillows and pillow cases that didn't actually prevent you from touching the pillow inside.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, very central location, can be very noisy in rooms from street activities. Sadly the rooms need updating, mould in the bathroom, bed and pillows uncomfortable, carpark recommended by hotel was disgusting, unable to use lifts as the smell of urine was overpowering. No drop off zone in front or near hotel entrance
