"The location of the hotel is everything. Property is close to the beach, restaurants, a supermarket, and within walkable distance from old San Juan. The reviews were great for this place, and that was a big part of the reason why we stayed there. It was disappointing to see that the front desk staff was nothing close to what the reviews were describing. Most of them were just hiding behind the computer screen and didn't even acknowledge who was going in or out of the lobby. Honestly, the valet parking attendant from the hotel next door was more helpful. The floor in the room was sticky, I'm guessing from a previous guest, and there was thrash under the bed. The rooms need some serious maintenance. Overall, it was just an okay experience. "

"I'm selfishly hesitant to write this review due to hotel size and availability; would like the hotel to stay the same and not deteriorate from overuse. Hotel is in a great location, lobby and room decor beautiful. Atmosphere great. Mattresses not great. Hot water comes and goes. If they fix this great, but if they don't, the hotel would still be my first choice whenever I'm in PR. Love it. I'm a General Manager of a large hotel and appreciate the thought and effort taken by hotel owner and staff to make the hotel stand out in it's compset. "

"Staff was so friendly, rooms was clean and roomy, only con was main elevators were down to one which got pretty tight at peak times. Overall great experience. "

"First, the staff is outstanding. upon arrival Dylan checked us in. This young man was professional but more importantly super friendly. He provided us with great information about the local neighborhood and some super dining recommnedations. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Room has all the basics a traveler would need. The downsides to staying at this hotel range from the overpriced drinks and food to the resort fee added to the end of the stay bill. A gin & tonic was $18.00 as opposed to a well crafted cocktail in Old San Jaun was $15.00. The pool area is nice but very small. Most chairs are not in the sun for a good portion of the day. The area being small, it was difficult to find chairs, especially when the hotel allows cruiseship guest to rent out cabanas (not in the sun). Then the cruiseship guest take pool chairs as well. Given the limited pool area it is unclear what the resort fee is for. Very disappointing overall. The best part of our stay was the staff! "

"Check-in was scheduled for 4:00 PM, but due to how busy the hotel was, we were asked to wait and come back later. We didn’t end up getting into our room until around 6:30–7:00 PM, which was a bit frustrating after traveling. That said, the hotel itself was clean and the room was decent overall. One issue we ran into was the shower door. It didn’t seal properly, so water would leak out and leave the bathroom floor soaking wet after each use. The highlight of the stay was definitely the location. It’s in a great spot and made getting around very convenient. Overall, a decent stay with some minor inconveniences, but the delayed check-in and bathroom issue are worth noting."

"Excellent location ! Shuttle bus is free to breaches and old San Juan. Front desk staff great upon check and offering many recommendations … the drawback is no fridge or microwave in room and the TV channel selection is terrible / very limited. "

"A little pricey but excellent hotel and service. The actual beach is really small, which was a little disappointing based on the pictures i had seen. Had to wait almost an hour after check in time (4PM) and had already been waiting for over an hour, but lots of people were also on the same boat."
