"Room was boiling hot as the aircon didn’t work. I only realised this when I woke up. Told receptionist on check out and got the old “you should have come down and told us”. It’s not a big deal I was just letting them know. Just the lack of empathy or apology when this happens is a bit irritating. On the whole it’s a nice hotel. The pool is small. I managed to swim a bit but it’s about 5 strokes a full length. I wouldn’t stay for the pool if you want exercise. Location is great for the station"

"Good value and well located - just a 2 minute walk to the tram stop. Free tea, coffee, mineral water, biscuits provided. The room was pleasant, and I was grateful for the free upgrade upon arrival! I would definitely stay here again. "

"The Fingal is a real gem, such a different hotel experience, it’s like being swept back to the days of the titanic, without the fear of an iceberg ! The staff were amazing, and really went out of their way to accommodate us, despite us being late for dinner. Can’t thank the hotel team enough it was an amazing experience. "
