「Clean spacious rooms, but if you book the triple room with a balcony, you should know that the balcony off the end of your room is a public use smoking area and expect to have plenty of people on the balcony smoking weed at any given time day and night so opening your windows is not an option 」

「My family came to the area for a committal. We also planned on staying a few extra nights to enjoy early summer in the mountains. We could not have been more welcomed by the owners. 」

「Great, centralized location to safely lay your head in between adventures. Amenities are very basic but the facility is a perfect staging area. Meeting other guests in between their adventures is fun also. HVAC didn’t work but adjusted with another clothing layer at night. Best thing: there’s ALWAYS a view! And, sitting outside of your room in their little chairs to breathe in the air before starting the day.」

「Beautiful place, over looks the Arkansas River directly below with Kayakers going for it! Quite , comfortable, plenty of space 」

「Proximity to Monarch Ski area and pass was very convenient. Hot tub was nice to come back to after skiing. The art and decor was local history and unique. We used the small kitchen and enjoyed the use of the stove, oven and microwave. pots and utensils to cook for four. The bunk beds in the hall were firm, but good for smaller children.」

「We loved our weekend at Fox Den, which has the best mountain views. We didn't see any wildlife, but they are said to have bobcat, deer, elk, turkey, and even a moose family in the area! We'll just have to go back again to see the animals ;) The house is amazing and the area/property is very quiet - just what we were looking for. It's ideal for families and couples looking for a relaxing getaway. We can't recommend this destination enough!!! 」
