Wonderfully spotless! Amenities are perfect - well coffee maker would be amazing as we awake about 5:30(!) but understand the constraints - I had to come up with something, right? Staff always wonderful, cheery, and helpful. The lodge amenities and ambience are BEYOND amazing - love, love, love the (realistic) retro vibe. Love the thoughtful, landscaping. Everything was wonderful. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Quiet surroundings. Great information when you get in to your room on what’s nearby. How to regulate the heat. Cooling. Hot tub water was warm and hot tub was clean. Need a Keurig in the room for coffee. That’d be the only thing I’d suggest.

Love this place. They have just the right amount of style, funk, and sass—super fun boutique motel. We stayed in one of the Airstreams. Although you don't have running water, the shared bathrooms were super clean and had everything you needed. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was simple. I wish they had a bit more, but not a deal breaker, since there are a ton of great restaurants in Salida to pick from. Great location too!

Great place to stay for one night as we were passing through town to head west. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Only negatives were the thin walls - we could hear guests in an adjoining room. Breakfast was grab and go, which suited our needs, and the coffee was good.

Peewee was awesome

We loved our stay in peewee! Our very own airstream. The location was great, the facilities were clean and tidy, especially the bathroom and toilet. The lady on reception was very helpful. We would definitely stay again!

I cannot say enough good things about this property. We stayed in the Merle Airstream and it was amazing. Quiet, comfortable, cozy, relaxing, etc. We sat in the lobby in the hanging chairs and relaxed for a long time. Enjoyed a very nice weekend away and will definitely be back!
